We have a wide musical repertoire to suit every kind of event, from weddings and special occasions to dinners, lunches and launches. You can either select one of the popular packages we’ve put together at the request of our clients, or ask us to formulate a special package to suit your particular needs.

One-hour package R3 000
This package suits clients who want to use Wired for just one hour. This could be for welcoming guests to an event, or at weddings during the service only, or just for the pre-drinks portion of a wedding reception, or to set the mood at a garden party..

Two-hour wedding package R5 000
First hour:
Wired sets the atmosphere with beautiful, uplifting classical music to welcome your guests before the service begins. As the bride arrives, Wired will signal the start of the ceremony, and then perform the traditional wedding march (or suitable alternative) to accompany the bridal procession up the aisle. During the signing of the register, Wired will perform reflective pieces such as listen Air on a G-string, listen Ave Maria and You Raise Me Up. We end the service on a high note with another traditional wedding march or an equally rousing and joyous alternative. Specific musical choices for the service can be selected by clients, and we accommodate special requests where possible.

Second hour:
We swing into a more upbeat mood with listen Latin tangos, listen jazz standards and popular light classics to keep your guests entertained over drinks, while the bride and groom have their wedding photographs taken.

Two-hour background music package R5 000
This package is suitable for dinners, lunches, launches, wedding receptions, or any event where music is required for two hours. Wired performs a wide and varied selection of listen classical, listen Latin and listen jazz pieces guaranteed to appeal to a broad spectrum of guests.

Three-hour background music package R6 800
This package is suitable for longer events of all kinds, including dinners, receptions and launches, wherever background music is needed for a three-hour period. Wired has an extensive repertoire which allows us to perform for the full period without any need for repetition.

Concert
Wired does not need to be kept in the background! Let us entertain your clients and colleagues with a fully professional concert of light music, classical music, or a mixture of the two. Performances can last anywhere from a half-hour to a full-length two-hour recital, according to your needs.

Please note

  • Our two and three hour packages decribed above, refer to consecutive hours of play. Special requirements can be accomodated, but need to be discussed in advance.
  • Wired String Quartet consists of two violins, a viola and cello. As these are all acoustic instruments, they are suitable for functions of up to about 100 people. If your function is larger, we may require amplification to be heard. We can arrange to have a sound engineer to assist or work with the team assisting at your event.
  • Wired is equally versatile playing indoors or outdoors, provided there is protection from direct sun or rain.
  • Wired will always try to accommodate any special musical requests. We are happy to work with you to find what will best suit your event.
  • We perform in 50-minute sets with a 10-minute break. These breaks can be arranged to coincide with speeches or other periods when music is not required.
  • The quartet takes up a space of about 3m x 3m, and requires four armless chairs.
